Carla

Osbert, me, and some of our Rotary friends went out for dinner last night. It was just supposed to be a short dinner but end up goin' home until 1+am. It was a nice talk. Carla and I have been friends for more than a year, but last night was the first time we really had a "serious talk". Her wisdom, sincerity and advises regarding life were really great. It was eye-opening. So now I'm starting to realize that the problem is really ME.haha. Well I admit, I'm the one who've changed. I'm just so thankful to have a friend like her. Now, I've found another reason to smile:-)

Broken

Never ending drama. Because of stupidity, lack of judgment, vulnerability and being weak have caused a lot of mess and hurts. Wish I could write down everything in details, but I can't. Been consumed with doubts, guilt, sadness, fear, and confusion. I'm just struggling with myself. I want to go home. It's where I should be. Need to snap out of this fantasy and back to reality. Just having a hard time bringing back the OLD KAT! But I know it's time to move forward and leave all the baggage behind me. How I wish I can demand myself to do that ASAP. I know it will be a matter of knowing and finding why I've fallen in love with Osbert in the first place, understanding the complications of life and realizing that not everything we want should or must happen. It's also realizing that commitment is not just in good times but also bad times! That no matter how much you wanna give up and hate the person's gut, hang on and be hopeful that things will be better. I know I've got lot of fixing to do! I'll have to start with myself and the rest follows. I can never make things whole again if I'm still broken. I don't wanna wake up one day, knowing that I've lost everything because of my stupidity. But I know everything happens for a reason. No regrets. It will really take a lot of hard work on my part, coz I know it was me who got lost and has changed and didn't make much effort to work things out. I just gave up that easily. But I'm hopeful that things will be better. I know HE walks with me hand in hand in my time of struggles and pains. I will get through.

Bliss

I've had a blissful short vacation. Just came from Manila this Wednesday. My friends and I went to see Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera's concert at MOA open ground. The concert was good, but we were like seated so far from the stage and I couldn't see them anymore. There were big screens though, but it wasn't enough! Front sits costs too much, it's way beyond my budget. Well at least I had the chance! After that, we went to Metrowalk and met with other friends. It was a fun night! We stayed up until morning! Then after that, went on a roadtrip. Tiring but fun. I wanna go back! I miss that kind of life! Haayyyyy

Fireside Meeting and Birthday Celebration

Last night was a blast. We had our meeting in the rotary and followed by a fellowship and celebration. Food trip, laughing throughout the night, smoking and drinking tequilla! It was a fun night. The best part was when the hot mommas unite and sang and danced all night long! I never thought they can party the way they did last night. They sure know how to party regardless of our age differences. Mind you, they are at their early, mid and late 30's. Fun, fun fun.

Web Hosting Service

The web hosting industry has spawned a broad range of markets over the years. Ranging from shared hosting to dedicated hosting, as well as all the hybrids in between, each type of web hosting presents its own set of pros and cons. There are many different types of web hosting. If you're single, read THIS!

To all my single ladies out there, I just wanna share this article I read about dating tips. Enjoy reading and may you find this useful on your dates. ;-)

DATING ADVICE: TOP TEN RELATIONSHIP TIPS

Beginning a relationship is generally the easy part; it's maintaining the connection that gets a little tricky. That's why a growing number of twosomes (whether or not they've tied the knot) are going into couples therapy as a preemptive strike against the tough times that will inevitably hit... and to learn how to keep the good times flowing. To give you a leg up in your love life, we asked the country's top relationship experts to share the most crucial things they've uncovered over the years -- from big-picture philosophies to little gestures that go a long way. These practices will help keep your union in a happy, healthy place.

1. Act Out of Character. Couples develop a particular dynamic: the way they relate to each other that repeats itself over and over. If you break that pattern and act against type -- in a positive way -- you inject new life into the relationship. For example, if you always get angry at your guy when he doesn't follow through on some chore, try addressing him in a nicer, more friendly tone, then thank him when he does a good job. It works every time. -- Toni Coleman, psychotherapist and relationship coach in McLean, Virginia

2. Get in Touch a Lot. No doubt you hug and kiss each other. But simple acts like stroking his arm while you're watching TV and taking his hand when you're walking down the street are also ways to bond. Touching your partner throughout the day triggers your feel-good hormones, which reinforces your affection and makes you feel closer on an instinctive level. -- Psychotherapist Barton Goldsmith, PhD, author of "Emotional Fitness for Couples"

3. Take Turns Talking. To make sure you both get a chance to state what's on your mind during a disagreement -- and get your points across -- alternate playing reflective therapist, where one listens while the other talks. -- Psychologist Diana Kirschner, PhD, author of "Opening Love's Door"

4. Find the Intersection. When making decisions together, try to find common ground. You each should write down exactly what you want. Let's say you're angling for a vacay in San Francisco to see the sights and hit up the cool shops and restaurants, while he wants a tropical getaway where he can veg out by the pool and sip drinks with umbrellas in the glass. Now that your desires are clearly laid out on paper, you can pick a place that will satisfy both your needs. A cool city, a little sun... how about Miami? -- Paul Dobransky, MD, author of "The Secret Psychology of How We Fall in Love"

5. Be More Positive Than Negative. There's a more effective way to air grievances than to file an angry complaint. Sandwich your negative comment between two positives. If you want to complain about how he's always late, for example, try something like "You know, I love that you're so laid-back and easygoing, but it really bothers me when you show up so late. I'm sure you can still be the fun guy I adore and also be on time." -- Los Angeles psychologist Yvonne Thomas, PhD

6. Echo Each Other. When you and your man are having a serious relationship talk, it's easy to get so caught up in how you want to respond that you're not really listening to what's being said. That's why it's important for both of you to repeat each other: so you know you've been heard and you feel understood. -- Yvonne Thomas

7. Take a Time-Out. Neither of you is perfect, and the quirks you both have are here to stay. So rather than let those annoying traits work your last nerve, try to get in touch with the upside of those particular flaws, even if it's not immediately recognizable. Instead of getting annoyed when he starts screaming at the TV, for example, remind yourself how much you love his passion. Or if his shyness with new people bugs you, think about how refreshing it is to be with a chill, genuine guy rather than a blowhard who needs to chat with everyone in the room. -- Denver psychologist Jennifer Oikle, PhD, dating coach for Coupling Connection

8. Have His Back. You might not agree with your guy when he's had a riff with a friend or he thinks his boss is being unfair, but you should always be on his side... and vice versa. Otherwise, you'll both feel like you can't count on each other. That doesn't mean you have to take the "you're so right" route all the time. Just hear him out, and let him know that you'll support him no matter what. -- New York City psychotherapist JoAnn Magdoff, PhD

9. Spend a Little Money on Each Other. You don't have to wait for a special occasion to give small presents to show your love. In fact, gifts are more fun -- and meaningful -- when they're not expected. Try to get into the habit of exchanging sweet tokens of appreciation for no particular reason. Don't go and blow your paycheck though. It's not about being extravagant; it's just a way of showing that you really get -- and think about -- each other. Maybe you buy him a tee of his favorite band that you saw on sale or he gets you a pair of pajamas in your favorite color. -- Barton Goldsmith

10. Be a Good Date. Face it, no one can stay fascinating forever. After being together for a while, the initial excitement fades, and your guy can start to get kind of boring sometimes. Hey, don't think you're off the hook -- if you're feeling a little ho-hum about him, the feeling is likely mutual! To combat the blahs, take turns coming up with an interesting date idea every month. Keep the time and details to yourself, and try to think outside the box -- dinner and a movie is not exactly innovative. An awesome concert or a snowboarding lesson, for example, is a much less predictable treat. -- Jennifer Oikle

This blog is not intended to violate any laws and copy rights. Just wanting to share to my readers about a good article I've read for single women. To let them have an edge when going on to dates.

Sattelite TV

I love watching TV. Movies, entertainment, series, informative shows, sports and even cartoons! Good thing I have a satellite TV. I get to enjoy these shows because they've got more channels and programs. I can say watching TV is one of our favorite past time. Whenever a good movie comes out, my husband and I just sit like a couch potato and enjoy popcorn, soft drinks and pizza. Yeah, this is how we bum out! I have a friend who lives in Massachusetts. After his tiring work, when he goes home, he feels so bored because he doesn't have cable. He cut the subscription on his cable because of constant increase on cable fees. I introduced him to Direct TV. He can look up for dealers near him on this link Direct TV in Massachusetts and I know he will definitely love it. When he checked Direct TV he found it so interesting and wanting to avail one. Good thing, I' was able to help him boost his boring life!

Idle

I still don't get why I'm not workin' hard here in posting blogs. To think it's an easy money. Maybe I just have to know the mechanics of increasing my rank so that I can get a higher pay in opps. But I'll try, and hopefully get the hang of it!

Greatest Invention

Thank God for internet! It connects us to all the people around the world, everything you wanna know is just a click away, and of course, it makes life easier and FUN! I can't imagine life without it. Girl like me can't live without this technology. I'll go crazy of boredom. Best thing is, we can download lots of movies. We don't have to rent and pay all the dues for delayed returns. I can watch anything that I want.. Yeah, this is life!

Fragrance I desire

One of my favorite scents of perfume is Lacoste Pink. It's floral fruity fragrance gives you an all day freshness. Its scent last longer compared to any other perfumes. This perfume is dedicated to young women with full of energy and passionate about life. The bottle is pink which makes us girls wants it even more. Actually, this perfume was given by a suitor. At first, I thought of not using it but when I smelled it, I just can't resist to use it. It's a perfume where you can wear during day time and night time. It's also perfect for dates, when a guy smells you, it will remind him how fun and passionate you are as a person. The other scent that I use on daily basis is the "My Desire" of Victoria's Secret. Its subtle scent don't let you sneeze or give you headache. There are a lot of colognes out there with strong scent that really irritates your senses like their Love Spell collection. I don't really like it because it has a very strong and irritating scent. With a splash of "My Desire" cologne it will give you the feeling of standing in a lush garden of sensual fragrance and surrounded by fresh flowers. If you have any scents that you would like to recommend kindly write your views and opinions on Talk Perfume. Share your stories and let everyone know how we can make life more fragrant and beautiful.

Timeless Pieces

I have always dreamed on having a Rolex watch. However, it's too expensive and so out of my budget. Good thing I've found a retailer that offers great deals on Rolex watches. When I checked their website, my jaw dropped and wished hard to buy one. They've got great collection and offers great discount! Different pieces are timeless. They are worth of your money and savings! Besides, I think it's a great investment to buy Rolex watches. It is something that you can pass on to your children or your children's children. Go check this website www.bestoftime.com and you'll surely be amazed of the great prices they offer. Best of time, AKA Alex Jewelry is an independent dealer of like-new or pre-owned Rolex watches, 100% authentic and the pieces are in excellent condition. Which means the case, band, bezel, and crystal does not have any visible scratches. The crystal and bezel may be replaced with new Swiss-made non-Rolex items if needed. All of their watches are thoroughly inspected, cleaned, professionally polished, maintained, and the best part is they offer you many years of service. They also improve and change crystals, worn links, hands, and dials as needed. Not much difference when you buy pre-owned pieces to brand new watches. A new Rolex watch will depreciate in value immediately after it is purchased. If you purchase a pre-owned Rolex, you can avoid this initial depreciation. They are not official dealer of Rolex though but they get their pieces from authorized dealers and respective industry wholesalers. This allows them to give significant discounts. As in huge huge discount! Go and check, I can definitely assure you that you'll be at awe to see the pieces and its prices.

Just thinking

I'm thinking.....Is it really okay to be a single parent? I know it's not. But what if, you just can't stand it anymore and you wanted out? And you feel like you've lost yourself and having a hard time finding it! Then woke up and realized that to whom you've voluntarily lose yourself with wasn't worth it? I know I'll be giving up a lot of things if I'll quit! Security, love, wholeness of a family, and etc.... Will it be worth it? hhaaayyyyyyy...Big big SIGH

Tears

Bursted so much today! Wasn't able to control my frustrations, hurts and dismay! I'm getting tired already! Shedding tears were not enough. I've never felt great when I threw a bottle over a window and the bottle broke! This is how I manage my anger! In psychology, you call it DISPLACEMENT! I just need to let it out, or else, I'll go crazy! So lost with my life now.

Bored to death!

So bored... i just realized that no matter how freaky Zamboanga is there's no place like home. Dipolog is such a boring city. Got nothing to do..we just spent the entire day at our hotel doin' nothing! We went on the mall but there's no really great things to buy. Even a coffe shop, NOTHING! haayyyy.....boring city! As in! When you stroll at their mall, you can see very few people in it. It's like Good Friday in Zamboanga! Damn! So few people live here I guess. I can't wait to go home. Besides I miss Shawn and Osbert so much! Haayyyy... I hate!

Thrill

We left at 6:30am in Zamboanga going to Dipolog. It's a 5 hour drive and thankfully I never felt the anxiousness and sickness throughout the travel because I was asleep the entire trip. When we arrived in Dipolog, we slept again and woke up at 5pm. We went on the mall, and did some shopping. Then we went to Dapitan City! We had dinner at Gloria de dapitan and after that went on and had fun in Fantasy Land. We rode Gelleon, roller coaster and etc. Awww...It was exciting to feel the thrill again! I just love the feeling of thrill! I wish we could bring Shawn there coz' I know he'll definitely love it:-)

We're going in Dipolog, and hopefully we can pass by Dapitan. I've heard Dapitan's got new interesting places to go now. I'm just waiting for them to fetch me here at our house, then off to hit the road=) Hope to post great pictures when I get back.=)

If We Wanted Change, Make it Happen!

I had the priviledge to meet a well known personality here in the Philippines. He is not just recognized in our country but also internationally. His name is Efren PeƱaflorida Jr, a teacher and a social worker in our country. He has been recognized as the "2009 CNN Heroes" for his outstanding advocacy to educate Filipino out-of-school youth through pushcart classes. He was our guest speaker during the induction in the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North. He grew up seeing juvenile kids using solvents and being bullied by gangs, but despite of that, he managed to finish his studies regardless of how poor they were and how kids ganged up on him everytime he passes by to go to school with his bike. He was featured in 700 club, and somehow I had a glimpse of his life. Instead of wanting for revenge to those gangs, he even wanted to understand why there are such people who just gang up on others without any reasons. And he knew right there and then that EDUCATION is the key to everything. This was his motivation to put up an organization that caters to underpiviledge youth Filipinos to give them free tutorials. Their push cart classroom teaches street children basic reading and writing. He brings hope, not only to those out-of-school children and their families but also to each and everyone of us. He inspires us that we can make anything happen. If we wanted change, we make it happen! We can always make a difference in our unique way. He is truly amazing! A hero that we can always look up to=)
